Martial Arts Background:

  • Began martial arts training at age 8 with Judo under his father 
  • Transitioned to Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo after moving to New Brunswick at age 14
  • Earned first black belt in 1992
  • Over 30 years of teaching experience


Career Overview:

  • Opened 1st martial arts school in Woodstock, NB in 1995
  • Mentors to affiliated schools in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia
  • Former Canadian Director – United Martial Arts Society (2005)
  • Chairman – Canadian Technical Advisory Committee, World Hwa Rang Tang Soo Do Federation (2007)
  • National Director for Canada – World Martial Arts Games Committee (2015–2017)
  • Founding member – Martial Virtue Alliance, supporting cross-border collaboration and rank legitimacy
